Greg Cone of The Wright Experience inspects a component of EAA’s 1903 Wright Flyer reproduction. The Wright Flyer reproduction takes shape in The Wright Experience workshop in Warrenton, Virginia. The Hay brothers, Jim left and Steve right, share a love for researching historical engine manufacturing. The pair built the reproduction engine that will power EAA’s Wright Flyer.

An audience gathers around the stage in EAA’s Countdown to Kitty Hawk pavilion. The pavilion visited seven cities during its yearlong centennial tour.

Visitors to EAA’s Countdown to Kitty Hawk Pavilion learned about the Wright brothers’ world-changing achievement through video, theatrical, multi-media and hands-on presentations.

EAA’s 1903 Wright Flyer reproduction became the primary focal point in EAA’s Countdown to Kitty Hawk Pavilion wherever it toured.
Microsoft’s Wright Flyer simulator was a favorite among visitors at every tour stop. By lying down on a cradle and using their hips for directional control, many guests had an opportunity to "fly" the first powered aircraft.
